Car accidents and our responsibilities

As per statistic, there are over 300000 car accidents happen every year in Canada. It means, we see over 8000 accidents happen every day. Nobody wants to do the car accidents. Then, why do accidents happen? Who are mostly responsible for car accidents?

Car accidents mainly happens for not following the laws like running in red light, speeding, mobile talking while driving, impaired driving etc. Some accidents also happen naturally without anyone’s faults like sudden break failure or tire punctured, low visibilities etc. Apart from these, car accidents mostly happened for the following reasons:

1. Over confidence: Drivers’ over confidence is the main reason of car accident. While driving, we take many actions which are not illegal but must have to take the precautions. For example, when we change the lane, we should maintain a safe distance with the other car. But, we do a lot of sharp lane changes. 

2. Lack of patience: Many drivers have a lack of patience. Whenever they find any minor or ignorable delays of other drivers, they start horning. It creates the panic to other driver and people make more mistake during the panic situations. We also see the lack of patience while turning the car. In Canada, we can turn right even in red light if it is safe. The rule is, we should not turn the car if there are any hazards. But, a lot of people turns even after seeing the hazards.

3. Engage with mobile while walking: Mobile is a part and parcel of our social life. We can’t think our life without mobile. But, we should not use our mobile while walking in the street. If we do, we may not see the oncoming or passing vehicles. This practice is not only risky for you but also for others.  

Whoever are responsible for car accidents, both parties are sufferer. No accidents happen by telling or calling. You may be well experienced driver but others may be not. Also, everyone may not have the same day like you. Please stay clam while driving. Nobody have any rights to destroy other persons or families for saving or enjoying a moment of your life. We always have to remember that an accident may bring the cries to your whole life.
