Mandatory Covid vaccination or Anti-vaccination?

Vaccine provides active acquired immunity to a particular infectious disease. Edward Jenner, British doctor, was the first who ran his research to protect against smallpox in scientific manner in 1796 and successfully developed the smallpox vaccine. Since then, whenever we faced any pandemic, scientists and medical doctors tried to make the vaccine for that specific disease. And, they became successful many times over the 18th and 19th centuries. We culminated smallpox, cholera, polio and many more diseases.    

It looks like inventing vaccines is a blessing for humanity. But, why do people go against vaccine? The most common reasons are:

1.     # Side effects of vaccination

2.     # Goes against the freedom

3.     # Testing process of vaccine

4.     # Waiting for trustworthy brand

5.     # Pre-existing health condition

6.     # Natural immunity

Side effects are very common for any medicine or vaccine. Even in, Tylenol or Paracetamol have the side effects. But, we do not stop taking this medicines because it works.

Anti-vaccination group think that mandatory covid vaccine goes against their freedom. Is it really true? We live in a society where there are many laws & regulation. We all have to follow those laws even if we don’t like it. For example, you do not park your car anywhere you like. You do not speak whatever you want. This is because of maintaining the social harmony. Mandatory covid vaccine is also similar type of thing.

Science never says anything with 100% certainty. But, we trust science to save life. For example, there is no medicine for motor neuron disease. Still, people take medicines. Why? This is because we want to reduce the damage the nerve. You may tell, some covid vaccine did not do enough research. But remember, vaccine is working.

People are fond with brand. But, brand should not get the more priority than life. In practical, we never give priority brand than our life. For example, if you suddenly fall in cold wind, you will think to get the warm cloth anyhow during that time. You will never look which brand produced the cloths. Being alive is the fast priority in this world.

Pre-existing health condition is an exceptional thing. My apology if I hurt someone telling like this. In airport, there are thousands of plane landing & taking off. If ever any accidents happen, we don’t stop using that airport or plane. Then, why not covid vaccine?

Eventually, we all will get the natural immunity. But, nobody knows when it will be happened. We are used to checking the weather before going out. This is because we want to avoid certain condition. Vaccine is also same. Nature will do his part automatically but we have to do our part.

In fine, I believe that mandatory covid vaccine is not against our freedom. Moreover, it ensures our safe freedom. Please become vaccinated and save your life, your community & economy.
